279th Station Hospital Berlin Distinctive Unit Insignia
Motto: "WE SUPPORT THE DEFENDERS"
The bear's head, from the arms of Berlin, and the wall beneath it identify the western sector of the city where the hospital has served since 1945. The cross represents the Hospital and its mission to care for the sick and wounded.
